We are constantly on the go thinking, doing, planning, worrying. We are continually bombarded with information on what is good for us, what is bad for us and what we need to do or don't do to get ahead, to fit in and to be accepted. All this noise and chaos does little more than leave us overwhelmed and defeated. We are oftentimes looking to something or someone else for direction and solutions when the real answers perfectly tailored to our needs are within our grasp. We don't have to "do" anything to access them. We simply need to "be". Be still, feel, and access our intuitive sense. It is from this place of being that we can better choose our best direction of doing. Don't rush into a situation when the thoughts about it are loud and pushy and purposely diverting our attention away from the true sense of what we are feeling.
We are here on this earth to fine tune our ability to better feel our way rather than think our way through life. Our brains are good at problem-solving based on facts and figures but lousy at deciphering emotions and feelings. Being able to focus inward and feel without giving weight to the mind's fearful interpretations is the secret to more peace, clarity and personal truth.
The next time inspiration hits, an uneasy feeling surfaces or a sense of knowing awakens, believe it and respond authentically. Only let the mind join in if it helps draft up a plan of action. Ignore the mind, when it pleads its case based on doubt, fear and limits.
Taking moments throughout the day to be still, deep breathe and check in on feelings and physical sensations will help us "be better" and "do better" at "feeling better" about ourselves and our choices we make in this life.
